I love this shawl, it is a beautiful golden yellow and I am pleased with its quality. It is not 100% pashmina,so it is a little thicker in material, but it has a nice sheen to it and keeps me very warm. Additionally, I have received many compliments about it and would certainly buy more in other colors.

I bought this for myself in the Golden Camel. I love love love the quality. The color is just as it appeared in the photo. Great width and length (I'm 5'8). The feel is so soft. The feel is just like my friends pashminas but she paid alot more for them. Fast shipping (received in 4 days). I will be buying more soon from this seller for next season!!!!

I bought this stole recently and I'm really happy with it. The color is beautiful (my choice was Caribe Blue). The material is thin, very soft and very warm. Excellent quality. I would really recommend it (especially when it's on sale! I got it for $24 instead of the regular price)

This pashmina stole is wonderful. I thought it sounded and looked nice but it is even better than that! It is large and very soft. Delivery was very quick, too. An excellent value!

I ordered and had this shipped to my sister for her birthday. It look a couple of days longer to arrive than expected. But once she received it, she raved about the scraf. She loves it - and that says a lot since she is very picky.

I was very disappointed in this book. I saw the great reviews and thought it would provide insights for a first time mother of the bride. It is, sadly, a fluffy little "personal memories of my daughter's life." I did not learn anything about being the mother of the bride. I was hoping that it would help me help with planning a wedding!

I got this book for my mom. The title caught my eye because she had a horrible time finding a dress for my brother's wedding and now she has to look once again for my wedding! She loved it and found it very humorous, basically read it in one night. The only thing I wished is that it would have had a checklist or something like that for the mother of the bride. Overall, great book!

What a great book to give the 1st time mother of the bride at the bridal shower. It puts things in perspective! I recommend they read it a couple of days before the wedding.

This book was great. It is written with humor and insight, and I probably would not have appreciated it before this adventure we call "being the M.O.B". It is definately worth every penny.

This is basically an autobiographical comic short story, with wacky illustrations to add to the fun. I bought it as a Mother's Day present for my mom right after I got engaged, and we read it aloud together in our favorite spot on the front porch, passing the book when one of us was overcome with laughter -- or tears. Ilene Beckerman can really write, and she does it with devastating humor and tear-jerking poignancy as she explores -- from the front row view of the mother of the bride -- the fun, the fights, the work, the tears, the trials, and often the complete insanity that all contribute to the creation of a beautiful wedding. At the same time, she critically (and beautifully) examines the complex relationship between a mother and her daughter. This short little gem will help you remember the things you appreciate most about your mother, your daughter...or both.

This was the most helpful book I have read in how to go about choosing a Mother Of The Bride dress, and I shared it with my daughter's future mother-in-law who thank me over and over agian for sharing my book with her. She said," in all the years I was raising my son, I never though about what I would wear to his wedding". Thank you Barabra Tibbetts for all your helpful advice, and funny stories about customers who came to your store to purchase dresses. And a big thank you for starting a great relationship between our family and our future son-in-laws parents.

Until I became the mother of a bride I had no idea the mine field I would encounter at every turn. When I read about this delightful book on several of the bridal websites, I felt it was something I needed to investigate. Upon reading it I found myself laughing out loud and even shedding a tear! Frankly, I learned so much about women's clothing that I never knew before, I believe any woman would learn from this book...wedding or no wedding. The author has an incredible sense of humor and yet is able to cut through all the crazy things that surround a wedding and help the reader understand what is really important. I learned so much about choosing my dress to wear on the big day. I recommend this to ANY woman. I plan on giving a copy to the mother of the groom. She will get a real kick out of it.

My mom was at a loss as to what the rules were for getting a dress and what type of dress she should buy. This book for the mother of the bride or groom gives great advice on what to wear and how to look great. It's full of wonderful stories and great tips. What's great about this book is that the author, in telling you the "rules" for what to wear as the mother of the bride or groom, ends up giving fabulous tips about what you should be wearing any day, now that you're not the youngest kid on the block!!!!! Bravo Mrs. Tibbetts!
